Annual Food Drive
Staff, students and families of CVA come together in February to make a difference. For over 30 years our door-to-door drive has made a significant impact on the food reserves at local food banks. Coordinated by Rev. Pam Morse of Sugarloaf Area Christian Ministry, several teams of volunteers blanket Carrabassett Valley with invitations to give.
These very outgoing, pleasant and polite young people just dropped by to solicit donations for the The Food Pantry. We received a big thank you from all and big smiles. Bravo to them, their parents, and CVA for raising such great young people
Other activities
- Dish crew - weekly shifts cleaning up after lunch or dinner
- Mountain clean up in the spring
- Roadside clean up preparing for the annual Sugarloaf marathon
- Hosting a water stop during the marathon
- Helping the CV Library with the annual book sale during Fall Family Weekend
